I had some time to collect a few of the reviews we received from THE SHOW Newport:

Ampsandsound may be missing a few spaces in its name, but a visit to its room at T.H.E. Show in Newport revealed the company wasn’t lacking much else. Indeed, the business founded by medical social worker Justin Weber seems to be making strides in establishing a strong line of components. Weber says Ampsandsound’s goals is to offer hand-built, carefully designed and reliable products offering the highest parts quality at lower prices than a buyer might otherwise encounter for similar gear…. VPI Industries Review
We are a bit late on our Newport posts but we are slowly catching up! This year VPI had a fantastic Newport run with tables in multiple rooms ranging from Scouts up the line to Avengers References. As I’ve noted in previous blogs, it is hard, if not impossible, to reproduce truly big sound without a large cabinet – Amps and Sound seems to agree with that notion. Read the full Article

I first ran into ampsandsound at the Newport show down in the marketplace at the MrSpeakers table. I had heard rumors and seen some initial PR releases about the southern California company but had little experience with them firsthand. Turns out they have quite the selection of tube-based amplifier that straddle both loudspeaker and headphone applications. Read the full Article
